Position request and position report
When connected to an external GPS receiver, the position request and position report functions allow you to exchange the ships position information. The received position information can be plotted on navigation equipment that has NMEA input.
Public address (PA) and RX speaker functions
When connected to an external loud speaker or hailer, you can make an announcement to crew members on the boat via the hand microphone. The RX speaker function allows you to monitor the radio audio from the loud speaker or hailer.
Built-in DSC meets RTCM SC101
Submersible (1m depth for 30 min.)*
